Forecast for February 2010 (All times EST)
by Global Psychics Psychic

The primary feel for February however involves a whole slew of inconjuncts, formidable aspects between two or more planets that are 150° apart from each other. The inconjunct aspect lies somewhere between the flowing grace of a trine (120°) and the tearing-apart energetics of an opposition (180°), and quite often simultaneously. In many ways, making sense of an inconjunct aspect is like trying to play a game of "connect the dots" with a bucket-full of paint - from fifty feet above.
Perfect clarity is therefore a concept that we may as well need to ignore this month, opting instead for an extended stay at a cosmic playground with enough swing seats on the Tree of Life for everybody. Again, the best way to deal with this series of inconjunct aspects would be to imagine the "New Whirled Order," settling down within our hearts and minds like the symbol of completeness and centered-ness as seen in the yin/yang. It may also be equally important to view the world through the lens of a surrealist, of loving the artful play of two or more items or concepts that don't ordinarily belong together. "Sheesh - that's surreal..." can be quite the handy response to whatever smacks our sensibilities in the near future.
February begins with Jupiter (in Pisces) beginning to form an inconjunct to a retrograde Saturn (in Libra), and even though Jupiter is moving through it's traditional ruling sign, and Saturn thrives in Venus' digs, our two outermost visible planets won't be seeing eye to eye. Libra and Pisces share nothing in common with each other by either element (Air/Water), polarity (Masculine/Feminine), nor modality (Cardinal/Mutable), so we'll be seeing plenty of irresponsible (Saturn) jocularity (Jupiter) at best, and a whole bucket of extra-crispy megalomania at worst.
Most of the latter will be continuing to come at us courtesy of Mars' retrograde cycle which began during the holidays, and if we can still hear the adult babies wailing that they didn't get what they wanted for Christmas, perhaps pictures of a destroyed Haiti are a little too inconvenient for putting things into proper perspective? Compassion fatigue is also a very real threat to become the latest pandemic, perhaps extending into mid March and April when Mars finally begins to move direct again. Let's not kick ourselves in the butt if "this too shall pass" is the only mantra or coping mechanism we can muster at this time - all of these challenges will indeed truly pass.
The exact Jupiter/Saturn inconjunct happens February 5, but will serve as a backdrop for most of the month - that nagging sense that something ain't quite right - blatant examples of which will be on center stage the second and third weeks of February. This will be a roughly two-week process of identifying who has been learning what - and what we've all been forgetting - during the astrological event of 2009, the Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune (J/C/N) communion which began signaling the dawning of the Aquarian Age. It's irritatingly too complex to describe or define but basically, if a parallel Universe doesn't split farther apart during this stretch, I'll gladly eat this forecast.
First, Mercury moves out of it's retrograde shadow on the 4th, Venus overtakes Chiron and Neptune February 7th and 8th, and Mercury moves into Aquarius on the 10th while Neptune (in Aquarius) celebrates its first birthday. Venus enters Pisces on the 11th and the historically beneficial Aquarian New Moon is on the 13th. The Sun amplifies and illuminates both Chiron and Neptune on the 14th and Chiron finally passes Neptune on the 16th, the same day Venus overtakes Jupiter. Whew! To backtrack a bit, Chiron and Neptune will be hanging-out together for the next couple of years with both entering the deep spiritual Waters of dream-provoking Pisces, so it won't ever be too late to grab onto some significant spiritual (Neptune) healing (Chiron) before they're through working together by 2012.
And here's where the inconjunct aspects will be setting up, right in the middle of what was clearly (?) described in the previous paragraph, throwing various monkey wrenches into what should normally be clear sailing. The visual representations of these inconjuncts even looks like inverse tornadoes, some rising up from the Earth while others are sweeping down from the heavens. Where they'll be meeting is within each of us, so standing firmly within our centers is of the highest priority.
Debilitated Mars (in Leo) moves retrograde into an exact inconjunct to Ruler of the Underworld Pluto (in Capricorn) February 12th, the only aspect these two "Great Malefics" (bad guys) will be making to each other through to mid April. Like the Saturn/Jupiter inconjunct, Leo (Mars) and Capricorn (Pluto) have nothing in common with each other by either their elements (Fire/Earth), polarities (Masculine/Feminine) or modalities (Fixed/Cardinal). Again, expecting perfect clarity won't really be an option unless we can take our inner child out for a play date, the fearless little brats we intuitively know we are.
Meanwhile and simultaneously, Jupiter (Pisces) has been moving into a sextile (60°) aspect to Pluto (Capricorn), but at least these two signs share the polarity of the Feminine. However, they'll both be inconjunct Mars, setting up a configuration known as a Yod, AKA the "Finger of God," pointing straight at the retrograde Mars. In other words, people (mostly male) who aren't working their inner warrior correctly or constructively may well feel like the entire Universe were shoving them around. And unfortunately, the only thing these bad boys may know how to do would be to fight back - not ever a wise thing to do - the Universe always wins.
